Chrome Hearts
Chrome Hearts was founded in a Los Angeles garage in 1988 by Richard Stark, John Bowman, and Leonard Kamhout, launching a revolutionary line of leather jackets, leather goods, and sterling silver jewelry that were truly one-of-a-kind. Although John Bowman and Leonard Kamhout are no longer part of the brand, their early vision set the tone for Chrome Hearts’ bold departure from mainstream fashion. Initially celebrated on stage by icons like Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols and later embraced by bands such as Guns N' Roses and Motley Crüe, the brand quickly expanded its offerings. Opening its first boutique in New York City in 1996, Chrome Hearts now includes a wide array of luxury items—from sunglasses and shoes to fragrances and furniture—while continuing to command attention in Los Angeles and beyond with its enduring legacy of quality and innovation.
